Steve Hilton – Internal Teacher On Call
Mr. Hilton returns to Southpointe this year as our Internal Teacher On Call. Steve has been teaching for over 30 years, with the last 17 at Southpointe. Steve initially taught Grades 5 and 6 here, but with his strong interest in computers and technology, he started teaching educational technology classes, and eventually technology integration became his primary role. This gave Steve the opportunity to work with all students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, which makes him a natural fit for the position of Internal Teacher On Call. Aside from teaching, Steve is known for his passion for building sets for our drama productions. Steve earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and his Bachelor of Education (major in Art) from the University of Lethbridge.
